Why Are My Workflows Being Duplicated?

If you're seeing duplicate workflows scheduled for the wedding day, it’s likely due to using the manual workflow creation option incorrectly

When adding workflows manually to a bride’s card, you may have selected:

“Create workflows that are before quote acceptance (recommended for brides who have already accepted their quote via WedQuarters)”

This option is only recommended if the bride has already accepted their quote via WedQuarters. That’s because:

  • Generating workflows using this option adds the wedding date to any relevant workflows.

  • Separately, when a bride accepts a quote in WedQuarters, workflows tied to the wedding day are also triggered.

So if both actions are done - manually generating workflows using the above option and then the bride accepts the quote - you’ll end up with duplicate workflows on the wedding day.

🚫 How to Avoid Duplication

To prevent this from happening:

  • Only use the above manual option if the bride has already accepted their quote.

  • If the bride hasn’t accepted their quote yet, choose the option 'Generate workflows as normal' and manually cancel any workflows you wish not to be sent.
