If you want to take a larger deposit amount than those set in your payment terms, here's how to balance the total

If you decide to charge a higher deposit amount, than what is set in your payment terms in your settings, then you will need to manually amend the payments.

As you will be manually amending the deposit amount, you will also need to manually amend the final balance amount too.

From the 'Services & £' tab click the 3 dots at the end of the deposit payment line:

Change the deposit amount to the larger amount and click save. For this example we will change the deposit from £50 to £100.

You will see the following red banner as the payment total is now £50 higher than the services total. Do not click the red banner as it will revert the payments back to your standard payment terms in your settings.

You will need to manually change the final balance and reduce it by £50. To do this simply click the 3 dots at the end of the final balance payment line.

Deduct £50 from the payment amount. In this example we will change the amount from £200 to £150, and click save.

The balance is now correct:
